Larissa Dooley, PhD
Dr. Larissa Dooley received her Ph.D. in psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles. Larissa’s areas of research expertise include health psychology, applied environmental psychology, and the mental health impacts of climate change. Her work has been published in a number of academic journals including Neuroscience & Biobehavioral Reviews, Brain, Behavior, & Immunity, Stress and Health, and Journal of Affective Disorders. She has been the recipient of fellowships from the National Institute on Aging and the National Institute of General Medical Sciences. She is also the parent organizer of Future Fighters, a child-led environmental group founded by her elementary school-aged daughter.
